I don't know what this is, really.
I'm at that point where I don't even know how I feel about it. I was trying to practice realism... but...

but I wanted to upload something finally, since I'm officially on winter break. So a "hip hip hooray" to that.

Holy...mother...of GOD! This is AMAZING!
Now, I warn you, I didn't read through all the other comments, so if I say everything collectively over again, I apologize.
But, I just HAD to say something on this piece!
I actually really, really love this. Maybe it is because I'm never very familiar with the characters of the fanart you do, so all I have to go on is how you drew the picture
But this is really wonderful. I actually quite like those magical bubbles, maybe he's just secretly under a film of water or something 
XD
The background color was a lovely choice too, you really didn't need anything more than this simple thing and the bubbles add a nice touch, I find ^^ [Even reminds me of a present wrapping paper I got the other day XD]
The hair IS incredibly incredible. I LOVE staring at it, seeing the lines, seeing the shades, the color, the hues. It's fascinating. [Too bad people's hair in real life aren't always like that! XD] But it's definitely the strong point in this drawing and it was definitely well done.
I also really enjoy the face here too, the shape of the eyes and the skin lines themselves are incredible too and I really like how you made the nose, for me, you really pushed the concept that it's about the shades and lines of it not just fine, sharp lines like most people will do. [You've almost got to blend it, let it flow] I also really like the bit of red around his eyes too and the mouth is fantastic as well.
I also think you got a very nice jawline going
The top of the collar lost me a little bit though, I really enjoyed the zipper and how dimensional that became, but to be lost in the black of his shirt didn't strike me as the rest of the drawing. Maybe having added some light to it too [maybe there would be a few patches were the light was strong or even faint on his shirt] would have given it a little pop, a little here I am, because I almost feel like it gets lost within the background a tad. But, maybe that's just me -- I also only just realized now the brown goes very dark behind him
But still though, I think it's pretty damn awesome.
I love that while in the heat of going through your stack, there are some pieces that just bend my mind back so I really just sit, wonder and look at all the detail [other times I find myself having to remind myself of that instead]
